My insurance paid for the machine and strips. They say it goes away after the baby is born. I'm 35 weeks but was diagnosed at 30 weeks. Luckily, I haven't dealt with any side effects but I tend to pee more at night.

I am currently monitoring my blood sugar.  No pills or insulin yet. It's been well controlled so I hope all is good. I see my doctor tomorrow to go over my week so far. I just started testing and recording on Monday.

I'm doing that same^^^but I take glyburide once at night to keep my morning reading low and stable. I give into my cravings sometimes but TRY not to go overboard. :)

I failed my three hour and they had me on a diet and checking my blood sugar 4x a day. Plus I see a perinatalogist to checkon baby and make sure he's growing right. The diet didn't work for me like they wanted it to so I was put on glyburide twice a day. It's nothing to worry about really. It's just a pain to check your sugars all the time and not being able to give in to cravings is hard sometimes.
