My husband felt the same way at first :) Just hang in there and make sure to talk with him and tell him how you feel. Don't push the issue though.  Its not just about your comfort,  he matters too. I got really frustrated with my husband when he wouldnt touch me, but we talked it over and how safe it was for the baby and I and once I hit my second trimester he relaxed considerably and my sexless days were gone lol! We have miscarried once and as it turns out he feels like it was his fault, so I figured out pretty quickly that he wasnt trying to be mean, he was just genuinely worried about the baby and I. Stick it out mama, he will come around.

Sex is fine. My husb and I have been doing it from the start till now and I am 38 weeks and four days now. The sperm is meant to bring on labour at the end of pregnancy or can help it. Obv not for everyone.

17 miscarriages. Sorry to hear that. Im sure your doctor would advise against it aswell at least until your past maybe 12wks. Id maybe take him to an appointment to discuss it with your gp. Then both of you can be on the same page with this matter. Good luck xx

Hon, that is quite a lot of miscarriages. I think he is just being precautions because he is scared. Which is understandable. It is not because he is not wanting to its because he wants you to get past a certain point in your pregnancy.  Be patient with him he sounds like he means well.  Good luck!

I go thru the same thing and partner doesn't want to do it like at all cus he's afraid to hurt baby or he says it feels weird. Sad but oh well. Your case is a Lil more different tho he's just being a Lil more precautions and he's paranoid which is OK. Give him time.

Im carrying my3rd and its safe to say theres nothing wrong with having sex while pregnant unless your doctor tells u otherwise....... my kids dad was like that at first but after we did it a few times he was more comfortable knowing the baby was fine and he even said the sex felt different in a good way.

Unless your Dr tells you otherwise sex is safe and causes no harm to the baby or you... it is common for some men to not want to do it... but reassure him that it is all safe
