Miscarriage or not?

Hello ladies,

I found out Friday I am pregnant by taking an at home test. Sunday I took another and also positive. The thing worrying me which I didn't even consider at the moment was either Sunday or Monday (a couple of days ago)  I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was like a discharge/mucus (which had happened before and I know it is normal to discharge) but I remember a little something dark in it can't remember exact color. I didn't have any symptoms or pain or blood. I am considered 5 weeks and I know you can miscarry without any symptoms.. I'm afraid and my doc's appt isn't until Friday..  Any suggestions/experience/comments are welcome!

i had implantation bleeding with my first..was bright red..i thought id started my period but it stopped as soon as it started..i got it the day before my positive test..had a negative test 4 days before...i was 4 weeks pregnant..i saw a tiny tiny streak of something red this pregnancy too also the day of my positive test..4 weeks pregnant..so it is possible it is that..i think thats probably what it is..try not to worry too much..i kno all us mummys do though :)

Reading stuff online is the worst it will always scare you and have you stressed out stay away from Google it's the worse

It wouldn't be implantation bleeding if you already had a positive pregnancy test implantation bleeding happens 4 to 7 days before your missed period sometimes spotting is normal and your hcg levels don't drop to 0 right after a miscarriage the only way to really tell is by a ultrasound

I figured if I took another test it could still come out positive regardless because of hcg levels still in my body.

If your really freaking out,Try another home test,it will soon tell you if your pregnant

Thank you so much. It was literally like regular color and a little say for ex. Black pepper size in it probably even smaller I wish I would've investigated it but I didn't think anything of it at the time. No reading things online I'm scaring myself. Also connotating the tiny size of what a 5 week embryo is.. Just a first timer and freaking out!

It's possible that it was implantation bleeding. Whatever happens in most of the 1st trimester is out of your control though.. don't stress too much about it. Right now, focus on being healthy and taking your prenatals until you see an OB. Not much else you can control other than that. Congratulations lovely!
