First u/s today, showed nothing
I am suppose to be 7w3d today, went for my first u/s and it showed nothing. Looking for prayers and hope whether this has happened to anyone else and u had a normal pregnancy. Looking for hope, thanks. Feeling lost right now.
Also got in to see my neurologist on the 12th to help monitor my pregnancy. So I will take all the prayers and advice.
Thank you, trying to stay positive. Spending the weekend with my husband keeping busy. Blood work on Monday. I still have all my pregnancy symptoms, which makes me feel better. However, If I did miscarry how long before the symptoms leave?
I went at 6 weeks and all the ultrasound showed was a empty sac. I was so worried but I went back at 10 weeks and there was a healthy baby:)
You may not be that far along. I went in at 7+2weeks and I could very easily see the heartbeat and it was at a strong 160...my best bet is that your probably a week or two less...sending prayers anyways. Good luck! Keep us updated.
I went for my first u/s at 4 weeks and didn't see anything but went back at 5 weeks and 6 days and did an abdominal u/s and they saw the sac. We weren't sure how far along I was until the 2nd u/s when we saw something. You probably just got the dates wrong.
My friend had that problem and they did blood work and her levels rose as they should. She just went back for another ultrasound and baby is doing well. 7 weeks is early and that baby is sooo tiny. Prayers! Stay positive!
They did a vaginal. Going for more blood work on Monday.
What kind of u/s did u get? Vaginal will show up the best around that many weeks. If they did abdominal I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't see anything. Don't worry too much, probably a crappy u/s tech.

They may have gotten the dates wrong you may not be that far ahead?
With both my boys they estimated by my last menstral date that i was a month more then i was.
Both times i went for my first ultrasound before the heartbeat and had to reschedule for later on.
