Not at all. I'm 24 weeks and work in a salon standing all day. I was that exhausted I ended up in hospital 3 weeks ago. I've since returned to work but on a part time basis. From 41 hours to 16. Yours and babies health should come first xx
You should do whatever is best for you and bub. It's best not to push yourself too much. I managed a fashion store so I was on my feet for 8 hours a day. At around 25 weeks I cut my hours down from 38 to 30. Then at 30 weeks I cut down to 25. On my last week I did 20 hours, I finished up at 34w3d.
Thanks ladies, i work in sports and manage 2x large programs. My work are yet to even interview for my replacement but i feel it's all becoming a bit too much as my hours aren't exactly 9-5 instead I'm doing about 50hr weeks.
I have a heap of TOIL so might look at cutting down to 3 days a week until i finish up... i just have A LOT of pressure to get all programs up and running before i go.
Inform your boss that u are planning to take off early. Can u bring any work home with you? I found working from home is less stressful
