i have to break the cycle

Ok alot of you ladies have been helping me thru a difficult time. My family is full of disappointments. My sister and brother let the cycle continue by not being in their kids lives and my sister followed my moms path and turned to drugs. My niece doesnt even know her mom and seen her once in three years. My layla bug knows me way more than her mom. It breaks my heart my nieces know me more then their parents my siblings. So after everything going on recently i must make this declaration. I CHOOSE to break my families destructive cycle. I promise to show my child what i never had, unconditional love, compassion and understanding. I promise to show my miracle itsok to make mistakes as long as we learn a lesson and grow, i promise to be patient and explain things of right and wrong to my child. I promise to never ever ever make my child feel bad for being themselves. I promise to help my child embrace anything its heart and soul desires as long as it has passion and love for whatever it is my baby bear chooses to do. If my child grows up never feeling what my destructive family did to me, then i know i broke the cycle. My child will not know my family because they truly are poison and evil. I know this sounds harsh to most but if you only knew how bad it was. I could never dream of my child having to feel what my family goes out of their way to make me feel. And that is unloved and unwanted. This i promise with all my heart to myself and my unborn baby bear. Sorry i jus needed to get it out

Good for you! And don't worry about what anyone thinks by not letting your family be apart of your little one's life. It's for the best and I would do the same.

I truly dont care. People are going to judge us regardless. They havent walked in my shoes. It truly is best and if someone wants to dispute it with me. Try going to stay with my mother. I been in colorado a week and already in a womens shelter. Enough said. Anyways this post is more.my way of getting it out.  Putting it to words so i can reread whenever i feel

Good on yah. And the fact that you are so determined and the relationship you have with your nice that even her mom don't have with her and your feelings about it all proves you will be one hell of a mom already so full of love!

Honey my mother had three kids and the state raised all three of us. Both of my brothers followed in her footsteps and they are both on drugs and homeless. I have two beautiful children and am pregnant with my third all three get undivided attention and unconditional love from my incredible husband his family and me. I get upset sometimes not being able to share my family with my children but I know that they have a better safe life without knowing them and I am alot less stressed. So keep up the good work my prayers are with you and i think you are making the right decision. Best of luck to you momma
