You don't want want pasteurized honey. that's basically useless. They heat it up to boiling and kill allow the good things in it and it defeats the purpose of honey keeping you from getting sick. My brother is a beekeeper so I know itwill not hurt a pregnant woman at all just children under 1 should avoid it..

You need to take the antibiotics for the uti it can get worse and impact the baby. I understand not wanting to take meds while pregnant but you need to weigh the pros and cons. Especially for infections. If left untreated it could get worse and cause you to go into labor prematurely.

Thanks everyone I will try salt water and honey and lemon .  Its just I know pills are not 100% safe and as FTM  being pregnant I get scared of something bad like losing my child .

not sure about the meds for uti but if your dr. prescribed them i would assume they are safe. i have used hot water with fresh lemon juice and honey (pasteurized). the warm water is soothing, the lemon juice has vitamin c boosts immune system if the sore throat is due to coming down with something and the honey again soothing and coats the throat and its got amazing anti bacterial properties again if its a sore throat due to a cold or coming down with one it will flush out the bacteria in your throat.

Cranberry juice works well for uti-  but to be safe I would take the meds given its an infection and you don't want it to spread. As far as your throat, you can gurgle with lmouthwash or salt water to try and kill whatever is making it sore and ricola drops might help- my doc says cough drops are fine as well as benedryl but not sure that would help
