I wanted to go when my boyfriend got home from teaching earlier, but he was convinced it would be packed, lol. Our theatre is the only one for a few cities, so it can get pretty busy. I don't mind though to see it again, ha ha.
Rogue has always been my favorite, and her story is full of so much pain. I love that there are multiple layers and actual background to Marvel characters.
actually this theater won't be - it has to be before 5pm on a tuesday, and we don't work on tuesday - but we almost went today (advantages of not being fully employed)
we bought tickets ahead for opening weekend for Star Trek last summer and it was really empty, It isn't the most high tech theater
Rogue's powers are a curse - but that is why I like Marvel comics, they show the dark side of things
No spoilers! I can't do the five dollar thing for a new movie, it's going to be even more packed than opening night! We are trying to do the 1230pm show tomorrow in hopes that it won't be too busy.
My favorite mutant is Rogue, but I would NEVER wish her powers on another person!
no Spoilers!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (but i know the story - i gave a "days of future past" assignment to my class when i taught during grad school - it was a fiber art class)
i'm trying to wait till Tuesday when our local theater is just $5! my husband wasn't to see it in 3d - i'm worried I might get sea sick though...
good point with passing through things and not getting hurt.
Oh man, I saw it last night and am bringing my boyfriend to see it again tomorrow!
This is really hard, because I inevitably think of all of the downsides to a power. Also, how much trouble my child could get in with said power, ha ha. I might have to go with Kitty Prude/Shadowcat's powers. She'd probably get injured a lot less because she could just phase through things, ha ha.
