ANOTHER GIRL.....THIS MAKES 6!

So I just found out a few weeks ago that I am having another girl! This will be my 6th girl and I am so bummed. I was hoping for a boy so bad. How many of you ladies have all same sex kids just wondering? Really what are the odds of this?

This is my first a boy but im hoping my second will be a girl.  There are things you can try tk conceive a specific gender I assume im meant to have what I have...goodluck mamas

I have 5 daughters and I'm pregnant for the last time and I will be finding out the gender at the end of summer. I hope I have a boy buuuut I'm so sure this time will be another girl and I will be sooo crushed. But if its healthy I don't care what it is but I need a boy!!!!

I already have one biy this one is a boy too was really wanting a girl this time since the most kids I have ever wanted was two. this boy will be my second child. I cane from a big family I am second born out of five kids. I have an older sister and three younger brothers so to me a big family has never been what I wanted two kids no more than that and I told myself when I found out I was pregnant before I found out gender  whether or not its a boy or girl sticking to my two kid limit. This one we will be loved just the same as my first child is /a girl would be had gender turn out to be a girl instead of a boy this time round .

Girls might still like to do guy things.  My daughter is tougher and braver than her older brother.  And her and my husband have a great connection.  So if you don't ever have a boy, don't feel like you are missing out.  And who knows, your daughters may grow up and give you grandsons instead.

It's so crazy to see so many moms sad about having the same gender! Sorry for you guys! My sister had 1 boy then kept trying for more she ended up having 3 girls before having that 2nd boy!Talk about being determined!
I thought I wanted a girl but then I realized I wouldn't know how to even be with a girl already having 2 boys!
So I was definitely happy to find out it was a boy. I couldn't imagine a better way to have my family complete than with this 3rd and last boy.
Of course some people say ohhh.. It's a boy.. Like they're disappointed but shoot at the end of the day it's my baby boy and at least I'm happy about it!
Definitely heard a lot of crappy remarks from the "in laws" but oh well!
I hope you women don't let the negative comments people say get to you!

I have four boys and now due next month with my little princess I'm so excited. I just knew it was another boy. (finally got my girl) getting these tubes tied up!!!!

I don't know that I could handle another pregnancy unless I am 100% sure it would be a boy! I'm good with my girls disappointed not able to give my hubby another boy because the one he has is more interested in being at his mom's because he has no rules and able to do what he wants even though his mother's household has never been stable. I want my hubby to have a boy that will want to bond and do guy things. Thanks everyone for sharing with me!

My hubby has two boys. Swears he will have another but that was with two others before me. We were doing it every night though so we really wont know till we see it. I know he will faint if we have a girl

Congrats mommas!!! I won't have all one gender but I am literally the first person I know who doesn't have all one gender... My mom has 3 girls, mil two boys, sister 4 boys, sister 2 girls, friends all have 3+ boys... Aunts and uncles, grandmotherd etv... I thought for sure I was going to have a second girl but my boy is coming... We did as tiffb said and watched ovulation and I ate a special diet (low acid for boys) and idk if it was what worked but if anyone is going to try for more it couldn't hurt right?

On a side note my parents had 3 girls and my dad desperately wanted a boy and he says all the time he got me as I am a major tom boy who always fixes cars etc with him and my sister has all boys and at first was so sad but now she says she was meant to have her little kings and boy are they close to her!! Closer than some mother/ daughters...

Thanks everyone! It has been difficult getting excited for this pregnancy but I am feeling much better now. @202Tia yeah your right do lol and all my girls are strong and different in there own way I would not trade them for nothing. @Disneybaby4 I agree as long as she is healthy I am happy. Congrats!!!! Don't be sad you have a all girl basketball team!!! Lol but on a serious note its the man who determines the sex and obviously girls are the strongest for him. You should be proud To have strong girls they probably take after you.

I'm due soon with our 3rd boy. Thought for sure it would be a girl, but another boy. Of course I was sad at first... But, I can't wait to meet him :]

I'm on my 3rd girl. I was sad. This will be my last child so I super disappointed. I feel your pain. But your brave doing it 6 times! I couldn't imagine being sad that many times. Hats off to you. Congrats!

Thanks @sew2009 I completely agree with you and feel the same way. I will love my baby girl all the same but to never know the bond between a mother and son is so hard and like you said all the negative comments and jokes about only having girls does hurt but I love them all the same. Just wish people would think before they speak sometimes. And I do have a lot of weddings I will be paying for but I live in Vegas so no lack of chapels lol.

I just found out I am having my 3rd boy. My hubby s family consists of four boys so I kinda felt like that would be all I had. Must admit when I found out it was a weird feeling. Not because I am not happy for my new boy to come but this is our last and I will never know the bond between mom and daughter. I think peoples negative responsiveness to same gender make it hurts. We were not trying for a girl or boy.... Just a baby.:-) I get all the time, you are gonna have a girl etc. As if a boy won't be special.... because of that, we are not announcing gender till birth. Hoping that keeps people from saying stupid things like, I bet you wished he was a girl. Because while I would have liked a girl, I don't wish this one to be anything but what HE is!!! :-) I think it takes a special person to have only one gender, boy or girl in the same family! So to you I say a huge congrats on your girl!!! Because she is the baby who is just right for y'all!!! Any baby is a miracle!!!! I do feel fit you when your girls are grown.... that's a lot of weddings. Lol :-)

My husband on the other hand wants to try for a boy.@ dandi2014 yes all my kids are with my husband and frustrating part is he has an older son from before we met so I guess it is just me. He says I am killing the boy sermon lol.

I think certain dna combinations will favor one sex over the other. If you had all your children with the same man this could be a reason...
