Vicks baby bath is amazing humidifier Tylenol that's what works best when my son is sick
You can give her some baby Tylenol as well and that will bring down her temperature. Hope she feels better soon!
I called they let me speak to a nurse and she said use the saline and suction and humidifier and moniter her temp
I habe an apoitment in a hour and its raining I do not want to take her but she hasent see a docotor since she got out of the hospital .. I don't know if I should take her today Im worry about her an I want to take her to the doctor so I could know she's fine... but at the timr I don't won't her to get sick ...
If the baby is coughing though, whether its from the congestion or not definitly call the doctor and mention the coughing as well. Since babies do not have sinuses like adults then can get rsv which when caught early is easy to handle. If caught later the baby can end up in the hospital. My daughter had it just after she turned 1and we just had to use a nebulizer, but it happened to a friend of mines newborn and he ended up in the hospital for a few days.
Thankyou so much ladies i have the little noses and suction bulb and a cool must humidifier in our room i hope she gets better soon its so scary :(
For babies there is really not much you can do other than get humidifier for her room, the cough will go away on it own if it's dry and not wet but remember that it may take 2-3 weeks for cough to go away. Try to prop the baby head up during sleep. Make sure baby gets lots of fluids to stay hydrated and just monitor the temperature babies and kids can tolerate higher temps than adults can as long as it doesn't go over 101. It this point you better off staying home with the baby cause doctors won't be able to prescribe anything for the child unless they are very ill. Hope this helps and hope your baby feels better soon.
Call her doctor to find out what they would suggest. You can get some nasal solution forbabies called little nnoses...it works wonders! All you do is squirt it in each nostril and use the blue suction thing from the hospital to suction all the stuff from her nose. I always had it around with my son.
