has anyone experienced bad dental issues while pregnant??

So I ended up having a really bad infection and found out ill need a couple root canals, was put on some antibiotics and had a root canal today. In 2 days i have to go back for more done, and they said if I dont have positive changes happening to the infection by then ill have to go the hospital and get stronger antibiotics administered via shots or iv. I cant help but be concerned how all of this is affecting my baby especially the medicine. Have any of you experiences something similar?

Oh and I also had an infection in my gum line so I was put on antibiotics and they did skme type of gel treatment to my gums as well. Before that I've never experienced any type of dental pain.

At about 25 weeks I had to get 2 wisdom teeth pulled and some cavities filled all in a day. I couldn't take the pain any longer. I'm now 35 weeks.
