Yes it is possible without hurting yourself or the baby. I was over 200 when I got pregnant and I have been eating all health food since which has been about two months and I have lost 15 lbs and my dr said id be all belly when I got bigger as long as your eating healthy and not starving and making sure its a slow gradual loss it will help keep ur weight down post pregnancy too.the key is smaller meals and healthy snacking. You will wat more often but be eating less.
I'm 32 weeks and have gained 6 pounds. The baby is weighing almost 4. Started out at. 150 . But I'm short. Thank goodness I was worried about getting huge.
just eat health and walk everyday or do a water aerobics class. staying active is really important.
and talk to your doctor about any diet plans
I'm a thick chick myself and i remember 1 of the obgyn telling me i could only gain 10 pounds like wtf i then got another opinion from another and she said hun if u hungry then eat...and now here i am 39 wks and all I've gained together is 22 pounds not to bad i might say
I started at 227lbs. My Dr has me gaining only 11-20lbs. I'm 20 weeks and have gained 9lbs. I'm so scared to gain too much. But have been told don't diet. Just eat healthy, no junk, lots veg n fruit, and exercise. U can start walking if u didn't before but don't run unless u were a runner prepreg.
I wouldn't intentionally try and lose weight it's not good...I was 206 before I got pregnant and I've barely gained weight at all...Ive gained 6 pounds and that's it..us bigger ladies don't gain much at all during pregnancy because our bodies already have everything the baby needs
Well since I've been pregnant I've lost 13pounds in one month due to morning sickness. Not intentionally but I lost weight.
