So this is my first baby and I work with a girl who is having her second baby. We are due the same week. Well at work today they are having her a baby shower and guess who they forgot about. That's right me. Vent over. I hope everyone has a great day!

Get a doctors not. Ask then for fair treatment, gather information to back your claims. Go to the labor board.  Most women don't know the laws about working while pregnant.  Neither do most componies.

And yes I have talk to them about it and they told me that if I could not continue with my current job I can go home without pay. 33w and less than 7 to go. That is where I am having problems. She couldn't continue and got a nice chair in the office and I will lose pay.

I'm sorry that you got your feelings hurt. Have you talked to your employer and let them know that you can't be working out in the heat, and that you need to have a lighter work load?

That is mean. I had the same problem when I was in school for medical assisting. I had been in school for a long time and was about 7 months pregnant. When a girl started school at that time and was about 3 months ptegnant. The class ooh and ahhed over her being pregnant and planned her a baby shower for that month. They were my friends and never thought about throwing me a shower when I was close to delivering but a girl that just started and still had months left got a shower from my friends. Ok I got a little carried away with my feeling sorry for my self. I just wanted to let you know that we all have problems and people are rude you are not alone.

They didn't forget me. I just work with a bunch of mean people. She is in the office all day and I am out working in the heat. She was doing the same job as me until she started whining at 20 weeks about it being to hot and hard for her to continue so they moved her to the office. Now she goes home early everyday cause her feet hurt and I usually stay late cause if I left early I would be written up. She get a ton of special treatment and I get none. I don't know why I expected anything different.
