Thanks ladies I really needed all that advice on bottles, because I'm going to breastfeed but I needed to find a bottle that's similar to my breast! Iam convinced I'm going with Avent!!

Having a baby with reflux and tummy issues I tried several different brands and I have to say I love the Dr Browns!! They are not that difficult to clean, and they last! I only have 2 bottles and just bought more nipples.

I have probably bought just about every bottle made Lol. None of mine have used the same ones. The Dr. Brown's is a bit of work but they are awesome for gassy babies. The Avent are easiest to use for sleep deprived mommy. The only thing I will advise is to buy one or two of a few types and try them for your baby before you sink a lot into one type and find out that baby doesn't do well with them. Happy shopping (which I will admit is one of my favorite parts of pregnancy Lol) :)

I BF and used the bottle. I really liked platex bottles with the drop in liners. You can squeeze all the air out of the bottle so there is none for your baby to suck in. The bottle nipple was very similar to the breast so it was very simple to switch back and forth. Cleaning the bottle is simple too since the liners are disposable. I will definitely be buying plate again this time. :)

I love Avent bottles! Used them in conjunction with breastfeeding with all three of my babies.

They use to make soothie bottles to match the pacifier. I am not sure if they still make them or not. It has been almost eight years.

From an experienced mommy...I've tried them ALL. Hands down I prefer the new Avent Natural, that's shaped like mommys boob, less air, and no extra pieces to wash. Good luck in your choice, its tough. Check their website, I signed up and got a 4 oz bottle for free in the mail and more coupons for more if their bottles and products.

I do have some experience with Avent also. I do like Avent. Also easy to clean and not too many parts. I really don't know about Dr. Brown's. There's just too many parts. And I've heard the tube in them get icky.
When you're sleep deprived the last thing you'll want to do is de assemble and re assemble a bottle. The less complicated the better.
As far as parts go for breathable bottles, I would actually go with Avent. :)

We've chosen avent bottles as they're excellent quality and the reviews from family and friends have all been really good

We lived the Playtex bottles.  I bf but had to supplement as well do to a couple of issues my son didn't want to take a bottle so Dr suggest Playtex because she said they had the closet nipple to a real nipple.  As soon as we switched he had no problems.

Thanks for the feedback I was looking at a silicone body,Dr. Brown or Avent! They all seem to have good reviews.

I used MAM bottles with my son. I started off BF and using MAM pacis and it didn't work out. So by the time I started bottle feeding, he was used to the MAM nipples. We looked and looked for similar nipples and didn't know about the bottles so it was a godsend when we actually found the bottles. They also breathe so he never had an issue with gas. And they're easy to clean.
I will always swear by MAM bottles. :)
