I have four, and the thing you will have problems with is the bleeding. Your uterus had a large wound that needs to heal from the Placenta detaching. The longer you allow yourself to rest the quicker you will heal. If you begin getting up and moving and doing to much to soon your bleeding will be prolonged. You could have milk production issues. You can also exaggerate ppd. So give yourself a few weeks at least. Then If you are still bleeding I would stay of your feet a bit longer. Btw, you will be "able" to walk just fine, just need to heal.

I could have went on walks right after coming home from the hospital. I'm guessing for a c-section it wouldn't be like that though.
I was fine with walking after my first two it's the sitting that wasn't so fun lol. But don't run or jump and if your bleeding starts getting heavy then slow your role but other then that I was up and around with in a few days. Anything but sitting lol the stitches ughh not ready for that again....
Thank you for feedback! I'll see how I feel after giving birth, just wanted to get a general idea how long it took others to be out & about.
I took my baby for short walks after I could move again lol but I would talk to your Dr about a good plan for after birth exercises but don't over do yourself. If you need to, try to find someone you trust to give your dog walks for a couple weeks so you can heal.
