Well, hubby wants three because he grew up with 2 siblings. I say if we're going to have three we might as well have an even number at 4. I'd prefer them all close in age though. I don't plan on ever getting my tubes tied, so if we're blessed with more then we'll love them all. I have a sister, 2 half sisters, and 2 half brothers so I know how a bigger family feels. However, if I can't VBAC this time and have a terrible csection experience and recovery again, we will be fine with just our two girls.
I have a 6 year old boy who is wonderful and amazing (but unplanned lol) and now I'm 30wks with a baby girl. I think I want one more in about 4-5 years, so my plan is for 3 children, but one step at a time. I'm enjoying the space in between the kids because it gives me plenty of time to get to know them and give attention before the next comes along :)
I wanted none and am somehow working on #2. I got pregnant with my son 3 years ago and took it as a sign bc I needed to get out of the lifestyle I was in. Wasn't aware I could have gotten my tubes tied so I planned on doing the best I could to not get pregnant until I was able to get fixed. Well, i'm pregnant lol. This one will for surely be my last. BF doesn't even get a say in it lol. I'm worried ab my sanity more than our financial situation :/
I have one boy right now and I'm pregnant with my second, a girl. We are stopping at 2. Especially now that we'll have one of each. We feel that 2 is perfect for us. I would love to have a bunch, but financially it'd just be too hard to. We want to provide the best that we possibly can and with less children, we'll definitely be able to. My husband has a large family with lots of cousins that are just as close to us as siblings. Since last June there have been 8 pregnancies in the family, so they'll all be just as close as siblings.(:
We're on #2 and thinking between 3-5. I don't want more than can fit in a minivan. Lol
I'm a one and done girl. My kid will have cousins and hopefully make friends if he or she get too lonely. But one is enough for me. Hubby feels the same and plans to get snip in a few months.
im on my 5th week...its my 2nd one with 2-yr gap from my girl. i honestly wanted to have only one since im a working mom, not to mention that im about to finish my masters. im a lil disappointed that i wont get to spend more time with my baby girl, that ill soon be busy with this coming baby, that my attention on both will be divided... im thinking of ligation after this second one. hope its the right turn.
I have 2 boys and expecting my first girl...I'm done with 3...the only thing is that they are so far apart...my oldest is 13 my second is almost 7 and I'm expecting my girl on March 16th...I wish they would of been closer together...
When my husband and I got married we said we wanted 3 kids..Now we have a 2 boys..3 1/2 yrs old and a 22 month old..and expecting a girl next month..I would like to have another one, hopefully a sister for my daughter..but for now I don't wanna think about it too much since I had them pretty close in age..but don't wanna wait too long either..God knows the future so I will just leave in His hands. It's not easy rain kids but I won't change it for the world!!
I have three with our fourth on the way. We thought we were done at three...God had other plans. We will have two and two and this momma is through. I don't feel like I could divide myself much more so I am happy with 4.
i love family and everything that goes along with it, but we're taking it one baby after another! i want to stay home to raise them myself, but when they get older i do want to concentrate on my career goals and travel more. i think we'll know when we're done with the baby production once we get there. :) baby nr 1 is due in june.
Originally the plan was we wanted 3 kids and then I was going to get my tunes tied... well here I am 25 years old about to have our third baby in a few days and we decided a couple of months ago that we want a fourth baby all of a sudden. Two boys and one girl so really hoping the fourth will be another girl so we can have two of each :)
I'd be happy with one more, preferably a little girl. I have a young (step) daughter that lives with us and is my world. She has a little brother on the way and is super excited. But I did miss helping raise her during the first few years, something I'd really like to experience with a little girl. But my fiance is quite happy with just two kids. Lol
I'd like to have at most 3 kids. If my husband and I are making more $$ in the future, then we would consider a fourth. My son is 5 months old and im currently 7 weeks pregnant with my second! Almost irish twins :D ive always wanted my children to be close in age, i have 3 older brothers and i always felt like an only child because they were so much older than me and we never on the same mental level. Its something that effected me emotionally as an adult so thats why its so important for me to have kids close in age.
I have my son and daughter ages 4 and 5. They are from a previous marriage. I am now with the love of my life having baby number three a boy. And yes he loves my two like his own. But he has already talked about trying for another one in about three years. He loves my daughter so much but he knows she will never call him daddy and he wants a daddy's little girl so bad. And he says he has a feeling that the boy I am carrying now is going to be a mommas boy. So Idk I want to see how I feel in a few years. I may end up with a 4th (and final ).
I'm pregnant with a girl 30 weeks and I have a son and he is 4.im done I have my girl and boy no more. You couldn't pay me to have more . lol
So many beautiful comments and orginal thoughts . Have fun ladies remember that every baby is special and such a blessing . I wish you the best enjoy your family you have to feel proud of. God bless you . I want 3 or 4 if not because of the economy and time dedication. the. I'll stay with 2 . Will see what's God plan for me hehe love you ladies . I just started with my first one
I have always wanted 4 at least and my husband said 6... Lol We are going to try till I turn 35 and then I said this baby making factory is closing. We have been trying for 12 years and have a almost 7 year old a will be 10 month old Saturday and are 28+3 today with our first girl! I wanted to have all my kids years ago buy we have had a hard time conceiving so I said I would be happy with what we have now but will continue till I'm 35 to see what God blesses us with :-D I turn 32 2 weeks before this baby girl is born so he has 3 years... Lol
I had always wanted 3 but my husband only wanted 2 - and now expecting our second I agree with him, we'll be done after 2, they'll be a bit more than 4 years apart. He feels like he's getting too old to keep starting over (he'll be 37 when this baby arrives and I'll be 31) and we both have further educational goals and career goals we are dedicated to achieving. We also don't really want to be outnumbered. I don't want to have more kids than I have hands. And I don't want to buy a minivan.
One... I'll never go through pregnancy again... It's the pits!
I always said I just wanted one and since my boyfriend is older than me he has 2 teenagers a 16 and 14 year old and now he's having another son I think I'm just going to be content with the one since he seemed to be a long shot anyway but I've learned to never make plans because life just happens most of the time
At first I said 2 or 3. But now I say take one kid at a time and see what you can handle. If you plan too much in the future you might set yourself up for disappointment or unrealistic expectations.
Me and my husband just want one. This is it. He has cousins to play with which is just fine for me
Just had my second baby another boy, hubby and I would love to go for a third and final baby, hopefully a girl. I used to want 4 kids, but I'll settle for 3. :)
