Depends on your body before pregnancy. But usually 25-35lbs is recommended
It's usually based on if you were underweight before pregnancy or overweight. Some women don't gain anything and some do. Me I haven't gained at all and I'm six months.
I lost 25 in first trimester. And haven't even gained all of it back yet and only have 1week to go. So you may not gain very much at all everyone is diffrent
I gained 39... Most of my weight gain was in my second trimester.. It sucked seeing the scale but he is worth it!!
I have gained all of my weight in my third trimester (6 pounds), and was advised to gain 0-10 lbs. I lost about 10lbs all together in my first and second trimester. I am excited to know I will probably leave the hospital weighing less than I did when I got pregnant :)
I'm almost in my 3rd trimester, (25 weeks) and I've gained 13lbs.
I have a sheet that says all the weights..
If you are under weight 28 to 40 pds
If you are normal weight 25 to 35 pds
If you are a little bit over weight 15 to 25 pds
If you are over weight 15 pds
Twin pregnancy 35 to 45 pds
I was a little bit over weight because they go by height to weight ratio so I am only supposed to gain 15 to 25 pds. I am 21 weeks tomorrow and I have gained 8.
Hope This helps. :)
