I feel this way sonetimes too- i am trying to get more protein throughout the day- having some nuts in my purse or some peanut butter with an apple or something as a snack-- i definately notice it more when it's been a while since i ate... Protein helps give lasting energy without so many spikes
The glucose test doesn't test for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) only tests for high. They have a special test for diagnosing different types of hypo.
They also had me drink that stuff (glucose drink) then do a blood test to check my blood sugar. That came out good. But I'm wondering, can that change later in pregnancy? Like maybe my blood sugar got low suddenly?
Yea that's what they say every time I go to the doctor. That everything's fine. But I'm like nooo something's not right! They said my blood pressure & iron are both great. I'm so confused. I just know somethings got to be wrong... :/
This has been my problem since i ws 16 weeks to where i actually fainted and was taken by ambulance. When i got to the er they said everuthing was fine, and it is common for pregnant people to feel that way sometimes it is due to extra pressure the baby puts on your body which makes it harder for your blood to flow. They just suggested i keep drinking lots of water.
My bp keeps going really low and I almoat fainted at work a few times
Sounds more like hypoglycemia
I hope its not my blood pressure! But could be...I haven't thought of that. Ill have to bring that up to my doctor. Thanks ladies!
I'm 34 weeks and I get dizzy spells as well. I take a nap and I'm good to go. Now a days I have to take naps or else I feel like crap
it could be your blood pressure? my friend had a similar problem and it was down to blood pressure!
