I have a friend who has her own brand. Pepperjack Home. I go online and purchase or stop in to her local business. I like it better than anything I have found on the market.
This is my third, I've always used all free and clear, or any other detergent that's free of dyes and perfumes
use anything that doesnt have fragrances or dyes
I used Dreft with my first child but didn't like it because of how strongly perfumed it is.
I have always used ALL free and clear. It is cheaper than drear and has no colors or scents to it.
I've always used Dreft for the first 2 or 3 months. I only use it for their clothes so it lasts me that long. And it comes in a little bottle and a big bottle. Good luck:-)
I'm expecting my third and have always done the same as tommorow264 has suggested :)
I always wash everything on the gentle setting and cold water, and dry on low heat unless its fleece or another fluffy material then I lay flat to dry/hang dry. As far as detergent anything that is perfume and dye free should be just fine. Its not necessary to buy the expensive "baby" detergents.
