There is research the shows smoking marajauna has the same impact on babies as smoking cigarettes or using alcohol and other drugs. Inhaling smoke deprives the fetus of oxgen, restricting its growth.
More research is needed about the long term impact on children and will happen now that laws are changing. All current studies are based on women self reporting after pregnancy. Results are not concluesive, since the data is not the most reliable. The current indications is that using pot while pregnant leads to more depression when the children are older.
Recent studies at harvard shows that smoking pot even once a week causes physical changes in the amigdala, which is the part of your brain that controls goals and ambition.
That study in Africa is a myth
Im gonna guess u were high when u wrote this. Dont ask this here, goto your doctor and take it up with that person. Fyi if you continue to smoke through out your pregnancy just know child protective services will get involved.
I suggest you quit now while you can just for the safety and health of your baby. I quit drinking and smoking completely. Think of your baby, Im not judging just give your baby a healthy chance.
...and so many women are trying to get pregnant right now & they can't. smh.
