Buy one of those daily journals that tells you a fact a day about the baby. That will help keep you focused on your little one and maybe give you the motivation you need. Remember even one less cigarette a day is better...

My best advice would be to keep your mind on your baby and how you don't want to make him/her sick.  It helps to know why you want to quit and keep reminding yourself. I quit smoking 3 years ago and the thing that helped me be strong was thinking about how much I didn't want to fail AGAIN. My boyfriend at the time (now my hubby) was also very encouraging. The other girls are right too to keep yourself occupied. I had suckers stashed everywhere!  I hope this helps!

Don't buy cigarettes, it's not good for the baby and please tell your doctor, a cousin of mine never quit with her pregnancies. I dont think it's acceptable. As for coffee a cup a day is fine, but I'm holding off drinking coffee until I know everything with my baby is good. I just don't want to chance anything

They say one caffeine drink a day is OK, so you don't have to stop drinking coffee. Good luck and congratulations.

Too much caffeine can kill your baby, you can drink one cup a day and no more then 200mg of caffeine a day is recommend for pregnant woman. As far as smoking, I recommend that you quit little by little don't try to do it cold turkey if you can't... Wish you all yhe best!

Dont buy anymore smokes i wouldnt worry as much about coffee. Focus on smoking first since it will do most of the harm. Try gum, candy , games. Key is dont let yourself get bored. If you do get an urge go for a walk with a lollypop or something. It comes down to will power. Good luck.
