inducement

Good morning  mommies I am being induced tomorrow and wanted to know what to look forward to during the process. Look forward to hearing from you guys..

Thank u ladies I was hoping  she came on her own but she a stubborn  one .. I havent had a baby in 10 years... her head is right there but she  is not making no moves ....

I can tell yu that being induced hurts lol when they put the balloon in your cervix its painful i cryed lol and it was my first baby.

I remember getting an iv then blood work, then a flu shot, then a cervical tablet was placed then pit was started in the iv and then I had an epidural...this stuff can take a few hours..I think it all took 4 hours to start labor with my second ...pit can be quite rough and I was required by staff to stay on my back with fetal monitors on...several hours of labor, then finally delivery.... I don't think that induction changes the length of labor because with my first it was only 3 hours but my second was 12 hours.
Bring money for snacks and may be some music or magazines along with your toiletries and clothes.
