I'm hell bent on not being induced with this pregnancy. I have four kids. Two of which, were inductions. I didn't mind it, personally. It made my labors REALLY short. But HARD. My first son was an induction. His labor was just four hours. And my youngest daughter was an induction. And her labor was just two hours. (No joke!) But it hurt SO bad. No epidurals. Uuuuggghhhh....!
I definitely don't want to have this pregnancy induced. Only because, when you go into labor "naturally" you have a lot more options while you're in labor. You can get up, have the hot shower on your back, walk around, ect. But when you're induced... You lay in a bed in pain until it's all over.
I'm 38 weeks pregnant and praying that this baby decides to come out on her own. I'd love to have a nice warm shower in the middle of it all.
I was induced on the 1st of October and it started with apill called miso-ssomething which is to soften ur cervix then i was given pitocen to make me dialate it didnt take too long to work. About 8 hours after i got my first dose of the miso pill i had my son :) i guess i just need a little kick start too
I had an emergency c section due to high blood pressure my second one.. The spinal was a bit uncomfortable but i hear it's just like having an epidural... The rest u don't feel maybe a bit itchy when out of the surgery.. The healing process is no joke my first was terrible but my second c section wasn't so bad just hurt whenever i sneeze or cough for a few wks
@MuddarsMauva does the c-section hurt? Thats what im terrified of
With my last pregnancy I was induced at 10:30am my stubborn princess just wasn't ready all day I had contractions all day (literally) I was so ready to push; but wasn't dilating so I had been on thee patois too long (12hrs) I had to be taken 4 an emergency c-section at 11:26pm my baby girl was born a healthy 6lbs 10oz pretty as can it was all well worth it! Congrats & Good Luck Mama u got this!
