Thank you ladies! I feel A LOT better now! I have registered for a couple of different brands of bottles in case baby doesnt like one, just wanted to make sure it could be used with the pump. I am going to check with insurance to see if they cover the breast pump but have to wait until Sept. 1 when my school districts new plan takes effect.
Evenflo advanced double electric pump
Also look into your health insurance company. Many of them cover breast pumps now. I got my Hygeia through my insurance company Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and didn't pay a dime
Breast pumps come with there own bottles. U can use whatever bottles u want to feed them with. I didnt use the breast pump bottles to feed the baby. I just poured the milk into the bottles i wanted to use in the freezer bags.
With the 3 breast pumps I've used, all different brands. I was able to use any bottles. I hope it's the same for you. I'll only buy a couple of one brand of bottle just in case my baby hated that brand. Usally, I've had no issues that I canthink of. :)
Usually breast pumps come with one or two bottles (depending on whether you got a single or double pump). Once you have pumped dump the milk into breast milk storage bags, or you can pour the milk into what ever type of bottles you and your baby prefer to use.
Ive never breast fed before but plan on trying with this one.. Ive heard what ever pump you use you only have to pump with the same brand bottle, but can use any to feed..
Which pump were you looking at? I registered for Avent and Playtex bottles.
Lol I know, I registered for Avent and tommee tippee bottles so maybe I can use the pump that I want from target
That's what I wanted to do to but I want to know what bottles I can use. I wasn't able to breast feed my first due to medical issues...this is all so overwhelming!! Lol
Thanks for that question, cause I'm planning on buying a cheap breast pump
