Indiana and our families tradition is to have my father catch the baby as it comes out. My baby will be the last in our family after 14 others and my dad won't be able to catch her due to me having to have a c section.
I'm from Blue Springs/Independence, MO.
This is my second and I prefer to have all interested visitors while still in hospital then have privacy once home. I'm not likely to have any visitors, might take calls, etc once home.
Otherwise, I want things as quiet and simplified as possible once we come home. My SO will probably field all calls and such from his family. I don't think I'll have any except from maybe two people, because I've already made myself basically off the radar. Only one person in my family knows how to get to where I'm living and that's only because she's around my age and been very curious through my pregnancy.
Georgia and we don't have any special traditions.
Alberta Canada. We don't do anything special just spend as much time as we can with friends and family
