When you go to the hospital Is it necessary to take a diaper bag for the baby?, since they supply most of the things needed for the baby.

The dimper bag is more so for the day trip home. So if you really want you could leave it at home and your partner bring it when you get picked up. Personally I kinda liked being able to dress my baby in his/her own cloths and blankets while were were at the hospital.  The hardest part for me was to waituntil my babies had their first baths.

No but I'm using my dipiar bag as my hospital bag bc it's Guess & super cute ! But you will need to pack a couple days worth of things you'll need for yourself , &  a few dipiars and things needed for baby to come home comfortable . I mean they will have Lil hospital blankets their but you may want your own nice soft one :) plus you just never know !

I've been to 3 different hospitals and know of every hospital in my area actually gives you a diaper bag to take home filed with goodies. A lot of them are like similac or Gerber diaper bags whatever company the hospital goes through. Idk if it's like that everywhere but ask people who have delivered at the hospital you are going to. You might be surprised at how much stuff they give you. At my last birth I got 4 containers of formula even though I was breast feeding bc they said they are given the product to distribute to promote for them. Pretty cool

I would take an unpacked diaper bag to haul home all the stuff they give you. Everything inthat rolling bassinet yhthing they have the babies sleep in is yours to take. Sometimes they remember to tell you to take the stuff sometimes they forget but if you don't take it they just trash it. So you should be going home with some diapers, wipes, thermometer, brush, alcohol pads (for cleaning the umbilical cord stump) baby wash and lotion. An empty diaper bag will help you carry all that.

Now that I think about it....no not really...they give you everything you'll need most hospitals even giveyou a diaper bag too...I take one because I know what brands of things I use for my baby and I have the clothes that I want them to wear in there, etc

I really don't remember taking one. I know they gave me formula to take and maybe some other things. Like I said we just went straight home. (Csection so car ride didn't feel good) I guess I would pack one. If you want to stop somewhere. We just brought car seat and clothes for me and outfit for her. We didn't really plan a head. I would say you could def pack a diaper bag that way you are set if you do stop somewhere before home.

So it  depends on how far away  you live and if your going anywhere when you leave the hospital if you should take one or not?

I think I they actually give you some stuff for the ride home. I think we took a couple diapers. Bit we only have a 1/2 hour drive. While you are there, you use their stuff.
