I always felt that because I'm really short but my 3 babies were on time, maybe a week before. I think it's just hopeful thinking. I think no. 4 is an early bloomer but my experience tells me no.
I thought for sure I would go past my due date for my son. He ended up being born at 37.5 weeks. Lol
My doctor told me the week before he came, "You better get ready because he's coming!" I was shocked.
I had that feeling with my son so much that I had my baby shower at 7 months just in case and I actually went into labor at 7 months and they stopped it and then I went into labor at 37 weeks and he was 7lb 1oz with this baby I feel the same way I've been rushing to get her room ready and on my husband about the crib even though I'm 33 weeks I know she'll be coming around 37 weeks even my Dr said he would be surprised if she would stay in there passed that she's in position and has already dropped and from last ultrasound she's 4lb so we'll see my opinion enjoy the time you have while pregnant don't rush the baby out but have everything ready just in case it comes early
Every pregnancy is unpredictable. I've know girls that had contractions at 32weeks and on but went 40weeks.
When I did my last ultra sound they gave me percentile based off of his measurements and weight. The only thing is the doctor keeps telling me how small I am and how big this baby is.
I knew my daughter would be early. She was due May 12, 2013 and I had her April 27, 2013. Although i was induced due to pre-eclampsia. So, she may have been early or she may not have been if it wasnt for that. Lol but i still was right, either way. :)
Maybe a dumb question how do you know your child is in the 60th percentile when he is still in your belly? I have never heard of them doing the percentile while being pregnant
Trust ur instinct, I knew I'd be late and I am... Time will tell ;)
It's really hard to tell. My first son was born before his due date but only by 5 days and he was in the 90th percentile for height and weight. I knew he would be born on the wknd he was. I have a strong suspicion that this second baby will be born before his due date as well (Feb 14th) but he's somewhere in the 75th percentile. So I kinda doubt ur going to deliver in April if ur due date is in May and yes in the 60th percentile, usually FTMs go beyond their due date. Unless ur at high risk for delivering premature, then that's another thing to consider, but I doubt it. keep us posted though..
I'm sorry 60th percentile not 6th.
