labor story

Last week March 19 my baby girl Valeria Hisela was born 8pounds 8oz 20.5 inches. On Tuesday I was admitted to the hospital I had a doula help me through the labor pains I was 3-4 centimeter after walking for an hour I was 5-6 centimeter I was officially staying by 1am Wednesday I took the epidural. By 1pm they broke my water and I was 8-9 centimeter an hour later I was 10 centimeter but my little one was still too high up. I ended up getting a fever and by placenta got an infection know as corrio. My daughter heartbeat was rising so the had me push to see if she can get down low enough to vacuum her out. I pushed with no success btw they had stopped the epidural. After pushing they told me there was no progress and I would have to get an emergency c section :( but I was determined to get my baby out safely. They prep me and my baby girl was born  at 7:15 pm I am so happy we got discharged Sunday definitely didn't expect to have a c section I didn't even read up on it because I thought there was no way I would have a c section. But you never know
