Can't stop worrying

I found out I am pregnant a couple of weeks ago, I'm now 7 weeks. This will be our third baby, fourth pregnancy. I cannot stop worrying that I am going to have a other miscarriage. It is consuming my thoughts. I'm afraid my worrying is going to cause it too. I go for my first appt next week but don't get to see the doctor. Only do blood work and financial stuff, so I will still have to wait to find out if everything is okay. Anyone else feel this way? Any suggestions on how to stop worrying so much?

Anyone know how far along you have to be to hear a heart beat with a doppler?

I'm pregnant with third and at the beginning I was afraid as well. Try to think positive. For me, I bought a doppler so I could hear baby's heart beat.

I am a FTM and feeling the same anxiety as you. i work from home, stay alone at home all day. All I have been doing is worrying. So i have decided to put in some extra effort, remind my self everytime that i have been lucky enough to have a loving husband, loving parents and friends. Many people are not that lucky. Try to focus on the good things that happened to you and everything will turn out well. (I know its easy to be said than done ).. but lets give it a try.. Another thing that I am trying to practice when i start feeling anxious is a deep breathing excercise and read some of the positive affirmations by Louise Hay (Let go of Your Fears..trusting th power within).. Let us kniw how you feel..

My suggestion is to focus on the blessings you already have in your other 2 children. Give them your time, energy and love. Worrying about this baby will not help. It will only stress you out and make matters worse...
