large purse vs diaper bag??

What will you be using?  I bought a large purse to use as a diaper bag it's stylish and has lots of room and pocket and it was 50% off so I only paid like 40 something for it. I hope I made the right choice! Will you ladies be using a diaper bag or a purse?

I have tried everything from a diaper bag to a large purse to even small duffle bags and backpacks. The best I have found is a backpack. I can strap it to my back and have both hands free. Everything else always slipped off my shoulders and it would take up one of my hands.so much easier with the backpack.

I used big diaper bag in beginning and just packed my mom essentials in a small bag inside that. I switched to regular backpack around time he outgrew the infant carrier.  Now I mostly use my big purse but keep a change of clothes/toys along in a toddler size backpack.  Sometimes he likes to carry his own toddler backpack.

Backpack sounds like a great idea, may have to do that. I like the hands free part.

I used a diaper bag for a long time until my daughter was older then I used a big coach purse I have. I just got a new diaper bag this time, I'll use it for the convenience of bottles and what not but after a while it doesn't matter I'm sticking diapers and wipes in my own purse lol

I have my eye on a gorgeous Kate Spade, purple with a bow tie, and large enough for all of baby's needs :)
With my son I had a blue denim dooney&burke and it was just as easy to manage as a baby bag I got at my shower. All about your personal preference lady

I actually prefer a backpack, it's hands-free which means I can wear my little one in a front wrap carry, hold my preschooler's hand, and have an extra hand to push the grocery cart or take my car keys out of my pocket or even carry a cup of coffee with me if I want. When I just had one I used large totes from LL Bean or SeaBags (the SeaBags tote had more pockets, easier to organize, plenty of room for cloth diapers in both though). My husband has his own, a stylish black messenger style diaper bag, I think the brand is Diaper Dude. He likes it a lot... also hands-free.

My husband got me a Michael Kors diaper bag. Looks exactly like one of those regular big stylish handbags but it has enough room for bottles, diapers,  and all that other stuff definitely worth the money we spent

We used a diaper bag at first but as baby got a bit older and needed less stuff I just take an oversized handbag out. My husband likes the nappy bag but often doesn't take anything with him when he pops out and just puts a few things in his pocket.

I tried the same thing with my 1st and ut didnt workm we formula fed and used purified water. So anytime we went any where we had to fill the bottles with water abd put the formula in a seperate container to mix later. The purse I used didnt have pockets that would hold the bottle straight up so it spilled. Changed to a stylish coach diaper bag after that :) never looked back

I'll use a diaper bag because I want the insulation for bottles & plus my husband won't carry a purse lol

Most of the time I used my diaper bag, which was bigger than even a large purse.  My SIL also gave me a big canvas bag from either Eddie Bauer or LL Bean, it's like an oversized canvas grocery sack except the handles stand up and don't flop over, and that was useful too because we could stuff in a change of clothes and a blanket along with everything else.  If your purse is immense, you'll probably like it OK, but I liked that my diaper bag had a lined pocket with insulation, so the bottles stayed cool in warm rooms and hot weather.  It could also be tossed into the washing machine, meaning it was much easier to clean than a purse.

I'll be using a diaper bag. I like it's plasticy,  so it'll be easy to clean when milk and snacks spill
