last pregnancy?. . birth control...!!!

So. .I want to ask you ladies if this is your last pregnancy what are you going to use for birth control. . Im planning to use IUD mirena . Do u have any other idea?

i had mirena after my second child for two years . . it was ok with me . . but i heard some women get pregnant with it

Also just a bit of advice please do research on mirena before getting it. Your own research not what docs say. They get paid for that.

Well I think it is crazy to go get b.c. if this is your last pregnancy. This is my last and I am getting tubes tied and hubby a vasectomy. Safe either way. And if your breastfeeding you can only get copper iud and a low hormone pill (i know five women who got pregnant 9mths to a year after starting it). So no chance.

This is my last pregnancy and I will be getting my tubes tied! Also the hubby is getting his snipt!  Lol safe no matter what!

Last p.g getting my tubes tide I wanted the mirena but my friend had to get her uterus removed the mirena messed her up...so I prefer to b safe abd get my tubes tide or burned

I got the Mirena after my first and now that I am pregnant with my 3rd and only 26 I am gonna go Mirena again. If you decide the Mirena than ask the doctor to put it in between 9-12 weeks post partum. That way the cervix has time to close and tighten up more. I got one put in at 6 weeks (the minimum time frame) and it fell, my OB explained that the cervix was still too soft and that at 9 weeks it should be better. So I came back at 9-12 weeks and it stayed in until I removed it 3 years later. The birth control that goes in the arm can be felt on both the inside and the outside of the skin and it is a very odd feeling. I'm opting for Mirena. It will give me 5 years it until I'm 31 (hubby will be 37) to decide if both of us can handle another child. Good luck in your deciding. Remember it will be what is best for you and you alone.

I really want to get the Mirena or Paraguard but I've heard mixed reviews on it so I'm really not sure if I want it. If I decide not to get it I'll be on the mini pill for a year while I breastfeed and then I'll decide what to do from there.
