I found out at 14 weeks with my son, they can check but it's not guaranteed at 13 weeks. The parts are starting to differentiate at this stage, so it just depends on your baby. Around this time girl parts are starting to retract into the body and turn into ovaries and what not. All babies start with the same parts and then they change into testes or ovaries and so on. Good luck!
I just had an ultrasound last week 13w4d and my doctor said there is no way to even tell this early by ultrasound. Both parts still look the same in a boy or girl.
