but I am 37+1 and he has some days he kicks the crap out of me and other days when he barely moves at all. They sleep a lot in our bellies and are also less active when they are having growth spurts. Then when u get to where I am they don't move as much because they are running out of room, and storing energy to make their way out

Thank you! I get so nervous when I don't feel it move. I go for my next u/s in 10 days, my 20 week one, the wait is killing me! I will try getting and drinking something also. Maybe that will help lol. I did notice that Friday night I had onions and yesterday morning it was moving more than ever! As I'm writing, it just moved! Haha

I'm 18 weeks also and some days I feel her more than other days. The baby is so small that you do not feel every move. I had an u/s Monday and she was moving on the screen but I didn't feel her at all! I even asked the tech if the u/s was in "real time" lol. And if you are busy and up moving around ,you may not feel the baby as much. When I want to feel my baby move I eat something sweet and drink something with caffeine in it (or I drink orange juice that seems to make her dance, lol). And no you are not being paranoid, you are a concerned & loving mommy!
