Great ideas ladies. I'm So excited. I'm going to try the massage school first then my insurance.
Look up massage therapy school in ur area and go check them out! At the schools u no things are done right and every thing is clean because the students get graded!
I went to school for nails! At my school they all so teach massage therapy! 3 girls in my class were pregnant! The senior class would all ways come and ask if they would like a prenatal massage. They have a special drop table for prenatal massages! The girls in my class loved it! And it was free to them! But the schools cost is half of what the other places charge and they have instructors checking on the students! I go and havent had any problems! Its $35 an hour!
massage Covered By Insurance Is Rare But Does Exist. Look For A Larger Chain Like Elements, And Ask If They Use Pillows Or Pregnancy Wedge System. The Wedges Are Designed So You Can Lay Face Down Safely. Good Luck!
Where do u live most chiropractors in Mi do have licensed massage therapist on hand. Or I knw at the spa I work for if you insurance covers massage my spa excerpts the insurance. I would 1st clarify with ur insurance company.
Chiropractors do not give massages unless you've got a multi-talented chiropractor on your hands.
Prenatal massage is kind of a specialty massage because of all the care required so I think you would have to go to a massage therapist who knows specifically how to perform prenatal massages and has the appropriate equipment.
Can you ask your insurance people if they know anyone who can provide a massage for you?
