What were early signs before labour hit you?

I'm just getting over being sick (37 weeks & this is the first time I got sick), extra tender breasts & random cramps that just began this week, and my sleeping is messed up lol.

Lol well everyone told me that! With your first, you're almost ALWAYS late. But my baby came exactly 7 days early.. super easy delivery! I did not really experience a lot of symptoms. But the day before, she was very active! And started having Braxton hicks contractions, then my water broke at midnight.. very light trickle! .. until I got to the hospital, the dr went to check me, and I literally gushed all over her. I was a bit traumatized lol I'm sure she was too! Lol anyway my whole labor from water breaking to delivery was 11 hours. But only felt strong contractions for about 2 hours.

Do any of you ladies think the first baby  always comes late? I'm curious I'm ftm and some people say at 36 weeks baby can really come at any time. I'm from and feel like I'll be the one to go to 42 weeks lol. What are your experiences mammas?

For me, part of my mucus plug came out on a Wed, then by Sat night the rest came out and I went into labor a few hours later.  Had my baby by Sunday.  It was a 12 hr labor from beginning to end..
