I always measure big. Baby measures big also and they never change my due date or are worried about it. If they didn't seem concerned I wouldn't worry, it might even out
Im measuring 38 weeks and im not even 36. They did an ultrasound and said things are good.
Unless you measure more than 2 weeks ahead or behind they won't worry. If you start measuring bigger they will do an ultrasound just to check size of baby. I was measuring 36 weeks at 31+4 and everything turned out fine with the ultrasound.
At my 19w utlrasound my baby measured big. Over a week ahead and 11 ounces. Everything I read says that he should be 7.5 ounces and only 9 ounces now that i am 20w. I don't see my doctor til the 19th but the utlrasound tech said "wow, that's a big baby" but everything looked prefect.
I'm 33 weeks and I measure at 36 weeks. It's just a estimate of baby. It doesn't necessarily mean you are going to have a big kid. My first pregnancy they thought she was going to be over 9 lbs and she was born 7lbs 9 oz. and this kid they are saying is going to be big as well, although this time I think I believe it cause I am a lot bigger and gained significantly less weight then I did with my first
When I went in at 18wks to find out the sex, my daughter measured more like 19w 5 d...my dr says it's normal to measure bigger, all babies grow at different rates
I measure big with one Dr and normal with another don't worry sometimes its how they measure.
I measured ahead with my 1st son and am again with 2nd boy. It normally just means a bigger baby my son was 8lbs 15ozs and 21.5 inches long with a big head. It can be signs of other things(not nearly as common) so they should at some point do an us to make sure everything is ok but the fundal height is pretty subjective too and even how baby is laying can affect it its a guide for them to know baby is growing but it doesnt change ur due date either
Well my first daughter was big she came out to 9lbs 6 oz .. I hope this one isnt that big
Well right now im "11wks" and 2 wks ago I had an ultrasound my bby measured 9 days more then wat thy thought I was and they changed my due date still kinda confused why thy changed my due date if I knew exactly when I started my period. Doctor said I probably miscalculated my period. I'm like nope.
im 37weeks and dr told me i was measuring at 36 weeks and baby weighs 6lbs 2 oz and said baby is small.. i didnt think so
Lovebug1131 I don't think 6lb 2oz is small yhats how much my daughtered weighed wen sge was born doctor said thats perfect weight not too sml or big
Thanks everyone! The thought of having a big baby crossed my mind...and is a bit concerning. At my last ultrasound s/he was measuring spot on EDD. So maybe its just that this is my 2nd & my body knows what's up or something ;)
At my 20wk ultrasound, they said that he measured at 12 ounces, same as a can of pop. According to the weekly status from this app he was only supposed to be roughly 10 ounces. I wouldn't be too worried about it unless they say you're measuring 2wks+
I went and to get my ultrasound done today and I suppose to be 24w and 5d. And he measure to b 25w so my due date is August 19.
