I get acid reflux really bad at night just as I'm trying to lay down for bed. Any suggestions on how to ez it? I've tried milk but I don't know what else to try. Thank you for your help.

I start3d started drinking chamomile tea with honey and that helped for me. I also read eating almonds helps as well.

I had acid reflux before I was pregnant. It got worse when I became pregnant. You can take Zantac over the counter. It's safe also. Sometimes you need more than tums. I should get better in time. Good luck to you.

When nothing worked for me i had to drink lots of water and vomit all the acid out. It use to be bad where my chest had bad inflammation, but yes the vomiting did help out alot haha.

I have decided I should have bought stock in Tims & Rolaids-but when they don't work, I dissolve a 1/2-1 teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of warm water & drink that. It tastes kind of gross-but works every time.

I have extreme acid reflux. I had it before I got pregnant & pregnancy made it worse. Talk to your doctor. There are prescriptions you can take that are safe during pregnancy.

Tums are my best friend right now. No fry food too late at night.

Dont lay down right away after eating. I started taking prenatals at night instead so I can sleep through them versus the day time. Not sure if its made a difference yet

Milk actually is more acidic than it is an alkaline so this will not help ease your acid it may actually contribute to it. I would try sleeping on 3 to 4 pillows in an effort to keep your head raised which will stop the acid from being able to travel up to your esophagus. I hope this works for you !
