name question

If we have a little girl we want her name to be Zoey but it has been brought up that we shouldn't because of my niece that was stillborn. Her name is Chole. So know we are stuck amy advice?

I don't think it's similar - the only similarity is they both end with an e  sound. Don't let that be your reason not to pick the name you like for your daughter.

I think its your choice you  not being selfish in any way..... The names are totally diff. Its your baby you shouldn't have to chose a different name its sad what happened but like I said the names are in no way the same.

Asked my sister today and she paused for a while then said I can name her whatever I wanted too. But it was very hard when we lost her and I know how bad it hurt my sister.

I'm sorry about your niece. I love the name Zoey, it's super cute. It is kinda similar to chole but it's not like you are naming your baby the same name. Did your family say something about it? Zoella is cute too if you want something a little different and unique.

They dont sound too similar to me?i kno if itd hurt ur family you wouldnt want to name something that would do that...how about zoella (said zoe-ella) my friends daughters named that.. think they actually put two dots over the e but cant do that on my fone..ive always loved her name n they shorten it to zoe or ella..just a thought :)
