neighbors r gonna kill my baby and i!!

So I have horrible neighbors, they're always fighting and screaming and I think it gets to the point to getting physical now. Two nights ago at around 2am when I was already super deep asleep they start at it and they got so loud and crazy it woke me up all scared , so scared my heart started beating super fast and even my baby started kicking real bad like I've never seen him do before. Today there's a trail of blood leading from the stairs to they're apartment. What can I do so I won't let them get to me!?!?

I've had to call the cops on neighbors in my building before. I heard the women up stairs scream for someone to call 911 - then a thud

so I called, and told them what a heard. they came. they did ask me questions after they got the guy out of the building, but they never disclose who places the call.

it was very scary, so sorry you are going through that.
and i know that cops in your city can be very scary too, but do call them - if you tell them you have seen blood in the past they might actually come quickly.

You live in an apartment so you can just make an anonymous complaint and they can't figure out its you. That sounds awful

Yes I'm surprised too! We live in an apartment complex and you know these walls seem paper thinat times so iI'm sure all the other apartments can hear all the chaos too.

I understand! I'd call the cops. I lived in a basement where the landlord son was a crackhead. He always came knocking at my door. I slept with a big knife under my pillow. It used to give me bad night mares. That's a horrible and stressful situation to live in.

Contact the police dept and make a formal complaint. It will cover you and baby. You don't even have to give your name.

My bf keeps telling me he wants to call the cops bc it gets real real bad! But I'm afraid the cops will tell them it was us or they'll find out somehow and we end up having problems with them after. I need to do it though its too much and at all times. Thank you for the advise ladies.

Call the cops, and let them know there is a domestic dispute, or disturbance of the peace. Let your landlord know about the noise, they may end up being evicted. At the very least, earplugs,  or noise canceling headphones.
