I have a month old and just found out am expecting another baby. Am 5 weeks pregnant. Is my body ready? Will my infant be jealous?

My middle son was only 6 months when I got pregnant with his baby sister. She is due August 20th. I got pregnant on the paragard iud so she was not at all planned but she's coming and we're excited! :)

I got pregnant with my second when my first was 9 mth. Other than lots of diapers, it's not bad. :-) they play well together and while I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, I wouldn't change it! Certainly wasn't planned but it definitely works for us.

My first 2 are 12 months apart- I loved every minute of it- never any jealousy issues =)

My cousin had her daughters 9 months apart. She said it was hard at first but now she's so happy she did it.  Her daughters are best friends and keep each busy.  Make sure you take your vitamins,  eat healthy and rest  ( which I know is easier said than done with a newborn!). Good luck. .. I'm sure you will do great!

You will be fine my first 2 are 14 months apart and my second son will be 9 months old in 2 days and I'm 32 weeks and 3 days pregnant with my third. My oldest was a little jealous after his brother was born but once he realized that the baby wasn't going anywhere he got used to him and now they're pretty close :)

wow, you were brave, i didn't want anyone near me down there after giving birth. i was scared to even touch myself to wash up for like two weeks lol

Your babies will be close in age maybe share the same age for a while! My three cousins are like that the oldest two share the same age for like two or three months then the youngest and the middle share the same age for a month it's crazy lol

Being 5 weeks pregnant means that the baby is only 3 weeks old. They add on two extra weeks since they start counting on the first day of your last period, or when your last period would have been if you had one. Lol its very confusing...

That happened to me with my first 3 pregnancys nd at the bigging it was hard to raice all 3 small Kids but I dId it nd now my Kids are 9 yrs old, 8 yrs old, 7 yrs old nd I love it cause they take care of each other in school.....  nd now they help me with their other 2 brothers that are 5 yrs old nd 1 1/2 yrs old....  but u will be fine Congrats on your new baby nd good luck

Your infant should be fine mine are 15months apart and my daughter acts like my sons mom she has loved him so much since i was about 6 months pregnant with him they are now 3 and 4 and are best friends. As for your body its gonna be a lot on your body as it takes 2 years for a womens body to full heal from having a baby but take things easy and everything should be fine.

I dont think your infant will be jealous lol infants dont know whats going on lol. With your body I can say my brothers wife had the same happen to her and she ended up smaller than she was before she had her kids. Im not sure how the body works when you just had a baby but Im sure some weight will come off.

Oh my u will have your hands full but this happens a lot to girls. But if you take care of yourself your body will be OK.  As far as your baby I think all kids r jealous at some point. They will b close in age so you might not have much of an issue..I know my daughter is 6 yrs. Between the brother and at first she was because she was use to being to only child for so long but yours will be close so I don't think u will have a huge issue.
