husband has to leave for 4/5 months after birth

Im due in 9 days with our first child. Although he has nieces and a nephew which were reallly close to him. But my husband has to go back to work on a fishing boat in june and it makes me really sad. Im afraid itll be really hard for me to take care of a new baby for the first time and with little emotional support from him..hes my rock and there's not much communication from the boat. But hes doing it to take care of us so I cannot say no. This will be his last trip.

I'm sorry honey.  I am grateful that I don't have to go through this but many others do. Maybe find a support group for mommy's who's husband's are deployed or something.
My dad was in the Navy and had to leave for months at a time after my mom had us.

So sorry he has to leave so soon after baby arrives. Try to get yourself connected with other new momma friends before he goes. Community is so important when everything is so new. Good luck to you!
