is it true?

Is it true that sometimes the stretch marks appear after you give birth?  I was told that it didn't matter that I don't have them now that they can still appear after the birth. That would really bug me cuz I troed very hard to help prevent them.

I got 4 little stretch marks under where my belly was the day of delivery. Idk about after but you can get them up to the last minute!

Majority of women do have stretch marks even if they didnt get them while pregnant.  Nothing to worry about once your stomach flatens out again they will dissapear most likely. One of my friends didnt get any untill after but she lost it all and you cant even tell she had a son.  Dont stress! Congrats by the way!

The truth about strech marks (unfortunatelly) is that you cant really prevent them, you can only ease the need for scraching and thats all. I really belive in this, and since theres so many cases how ladies were taking extra care trying to prevent them but at the end got them anyway. Thats why i dont want to stress about it , only helping and easing the urge to scratch....

I understand that. I didn't get any with my first and so far still don't have any but my cousin said she was like that and after she gave birth they all came.

I think people say that they come afterwards because until the skin is looseded sometimes you can't see them yet. I only had a few while I was pregnant with my first and then afterwards, when my stomach deflated I had alot more that I hadn't noticed yet. But honestly, they aren't the worst things in the world. I have some pretty bad ones on my hips that have been there for ten years now, theyre not going anywhere, but I'm not really ashamed of them. They are scars from something great :) and all the cocoa butter in the world won't prevent them either!
