Thanks for sharing your experience, makes me feel a little better. Hopefully soon I'll get to feel him, and it's also my 1st pregnancy
I have an anterior placenta as well. At 20 weeks he started kicking down, so I could feel him on my bladder. At 23 weeks I could see kicks outside if I laid on my side (he kicks mostly left side). I'm 30 weeks, still anterior placenta according to my ultrasound yesterday. Sometimes I can see my belly move but not feel it (such a weird concept to me) but little man gives some strong kicks so I definitely feel him. As your baby gets stronger you'll feel it more, I feel him most when I lie down on my sides.
I had anterior with my first. I could still feel her pretty soon though as I have a small frame but I couldn't feel her as soon from the outside. It did eventually move around to the back though. Now I'm pregnant with my second and was shocked when I felt this baby so much sooner and my husband could feel from the outside at 16 weeks. Don't worry, you will feel baby soon I bet! Do you do yoga or Pilates? It can encourage the placenta to move around.
I had the same thing in early pregnancy around my 20 weeks mark..it corrected its self! I started feeling kicks and seeing them out the outside by the of 24-25 weeks
