CDC NEWS ALERT!!

There is a news alert that a deadly bacteria found in caramel - apples has already claimed lives of many people in the USA. Many of the victims were pregnant! Let's spread the awareness to prevent further loss.

I don't think four deaths counts as an epidemic (or "many people" to be honest). Nine of the 28 people who GOT SICK were pregnant... the article doesn't say whether or not any of the four fatalities were pregnant women. We know listeria is dangerous, that's why we don't eat deli meat, and it isn't exactly the season for caramel apples anymore, not to mention this was obviously an isolated incident in one particular packaging facility on one particular day - it's not like every apple or even every apple dunked in liquid sugar is contaminated. So. Yeah. Everybody be careful what you eat but unfortunately you can't predict or prevent everything bad that could possibly happen. We can't panic about every possibility. Stress is worse for our bodies than the minuscule chance of contracting something like this in a situation like this.

I seen that, it's scary! I bought a Carmel apple and ate it a couple months ago.
