If it wasn't a vaginal ultrasound then they can't tell you this early for sure. @5wks I had a empty sac. @ 7wks5days there was a baby but it was so small they didn't even try a regular ultrasound....

Sometimes its too early to see that why they make you wait a week or so. I really hope it works out for you!

Just hold ur head up extra worrying deff isn't good. I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks and just seen a sac and I was scared to death. The Dr said the sac looked good but still couldn't see baby so I was freaking esp since with my 1st I seen him and a heartbeat at 6,4. I tried to keep my mind busy and had an ultrasound a few days ago at 8,2 and there was baby. I did end up measuring a week or so behind so my due sate changed BC apparently I ovulated late. Hang in there mama

I had a similar experience, your dates could be slightly off. 1st US they only saw sac, following week there was baby. I'm now 33+4. Try not to worry.

Is there a possibility that your not as far along as you think? At almost 5 weeks I had a empty gestational sac. Went back a few days later and then they saw the yolk sac. Went back at 8 weeks and there was baby with a heart beat. I hope everything works out for you. You're in my prayers!!

If this does happen The lady I knw got pregnant a month later w/ a healthy baby. The doctor sd its just the body's way of preparing for the real pregnancy. You're more fertile then that when you originally got pregnant
