Contractions? Totally clueless!!!!

I am 36+5 with second pregnancy and totally clueless as to what it feels like to go into labour (I was induced last time)

I'm lying here brushing everything off as braxton hicks....I am feeling extreme low pressure(plus like I need to poop tmi sorry), lower back pain and tightenings every 10 mins for about a minute. Had this for the last 2 hours now.

SO.........braxton hicks or contractions?

Had it this morning as well for a couple of hours only they were 20 mins apart and then they stopped.

Also ended up in the hospital a couple of days ago where the midwife did an internal and said it was 'odd'. I was kind of 3cm but further in only 1cm dilated and 1cm long yet said my cervix was paper thin? Also said she could see my waters......does that mean my plug has gone without me realising?

Think I just keep getting my hopes up and then get upset when nothing happens!!

Sounds like it could be back labor starting:) try a warm bath to see if it goes away... if not keep timing and once you get to about 5-7mins apart if you want go in. :-) Good luck mama. Hope all goes perfect for you even if it doesnt happen tonight lol :-)
