My dog 6 yrs old shihtzu has been staring at me lately. It is driving me crazy.lol idk if she been staring at me that hard or if its cuz I'm pregnant and get annoyed easily but damn. Like my dog is dingy.. Lol does she know I'm pregnant . she acts the same for the most part. Anyone else have pets? Any changes?
My 5 year old cocker spaniel loves to sleep near my bump n feel the baby move. In fact when he sits near the bump the baby always reacts with movement/kicks...and yes he too follows me everywhere...
I just gotta say be glad it's a dog or cat. My dog knows and reacts to the pregnancy. As well as my rabbit and cat and goat and donkey and horses. My horse actually always now puts his head to my belly and loves to blow against my bump sending my little girl into a whirlwind of flips and rolls. Its adorable but annoying sometimes when I go to the barn
I think that's the cutest thing ever. Dogs know and will protect that baby. Instead of getting annoyed, be happy and show those doggies some love. My pit does the same thing and I love it!!
Same here my jack Russell follows me around too. I work overnight and he will stay in the room with me while I sleep even if my husband is downstairs. He was always more independent and didn't like to be cooped up sleeping during the day. My husband says since I'm a mammal and so is the dog then he probably knows I'm pregnant
34 weeks here. About the time I hit the 4 month mark, my lab started following me everywhere. He licks me in passing on any body part he can. Paces the door if I shut the door to the bathroom. If i stand up, he stands up. If I sit, he sits. I did that for like 10 mins one day and he followed suit every time. He's nuts.
My boxer constantly follows me around ever since I got prego. She never did with my first but was VERY interested when he arrived. Dogs know :)

My dachshund is funny with my daughter. He gives her kisses almost daily and if I say that baby needs snuggles he gets all cuddly with my bump even when she kicks him like crazy He just stays there. It's so cute
Yes animals know lol you guys stories are funny... But yep animals can get jealous as if you gonna disown them... Due to the fact they are used to being your baby...

I have a 5 yr old Yorkie that's been doing the same thing! He's totally obsessed w/ me & just lays on my lap & stares at me or my big belly! He's also started trying to lick my boobs through my shirt! He's actually staring At me now!
You just have to let your dog know he is not being replaced by the baby, so he doesn't act out badly by ruining your things.... pet and play with your pet as ususual let him know you still love him. ....
My dog pisses in his cage and marks his territory in my stuff now so yea my dog change am even scared of getting my pack n play now or my swing :'(... his been alot more clingy
My cat is 8 months old and does the same thing, I catch him staring at me all the time, but I've learn to not let it annoy me anymore. He is just curious and knows the changes my body is going through, he now lays next to my belly at night......

I have a pug and she does the same thing! It pissses me off so bad! And she will not leave me the heck alone EVER she follows me everywhere I mean everywhere right under my feet! I love her but I seriously want to sell her to the Chinese restaurant sometimes! She knows I'm pregnant though lays right on my belly where baby is
We have a 3 yr old Pomeranian and he's been doing the same thing to me. It was extremely funny when he was laying on the side of my belly and got kicked! He jumped up n freaked out like what the h*** was that n starred at me for hrs and would not lay by the belly again he laid on my legs n starred n whinned. I took a pic if I knew how to post it I would.
I have a 5 month old pit bull n she knows im pregnant cuz she's all over me n likes to follow me around n that drives me nuts!
My shih tzu does the same thing!!!!!!!! And he won't leave me alone lol.
