How is that even possible?!

Okay, this may be a TMI thing, but I'm 40+3 and I lost my mucus plug (FINALLY) about 5 days ago. I am still having SO MUCH discharge that I have to wear a panty liner all the time or I have wet underwear. It's not my water (that I could imagine) because it looks like my mucus plug minus the blood. How is it possible for me to still have so much discharge?

Well, I'm being induced in 3 days, so hopefully I'll start labor naturally before Friday!! That would be amazing!

The mucous Plug is actually a lot bigger than people think. It's possible that  it didn't all come out with the large piece you had 5 days ago. That's the best guess I have.
