If what these ladies are saying is true then my baby doesn't move very much he must be a lazy little bugger he only ever really moves at night when I lay down or get done eating. But my doc says my placenta is in the front of my belly so I may not feel as much movement as most women because the placenta is what he's hitting I do however feel my belly get hard in sppts and then it goes Away
Lol, I agree Cecilia. I'd ask your OB what he/she prefer you do. :)
Well this hardly seems helpful if every doctor is different lol
My Dr does 6 in 2hrs a day after 28weeks
So its now 8:30 and I have felt 11movement but say at 8:05she move 4 times with in that min so do I do the same when 9:00 or no
I was told 10 kicks a day. I have to keep a log for my Dr every week.
You don't have to feel movement every hour. Babies sleep a lot while they're cooking. You should figure out the time of day your baby is most active, and lay on your side and count movements. It should be around the same time every day. And then during that time you should feel 10 movements in 2 hours. Keep track of each day, and if you start noticing a change you should call the doctor. For example, if it usually only takes 30 minutes to hit 10, but one day it takes 2 hours you should call. Or if you don't feel 10 in the 2 hours. Hope this helps, good luck.
Reason I as because it is time she not moving and I got to make her I'm 29weeks 2day and when I'm laying on my left side she dont move every hour unless I sit up and make her
Yes it's 10 movements an hour. My doctor says to monitor the movements at the time the baby is usually the busiest.
10 movements within 1 hour..
I was told 10 every hour after 28 weeks.
My doctor says you should feel ten kicks or movement an hr a day. After 28wks, you relax and count your baby fetal movements once a day
Kicks supposed to feel 5 or more a hour
