Crib question

Ok so I need some advice... I bought a crib ( simplicity Ellis) from a buy  swap sell site in my town a few months ago, they didn't tell me what kind of crib it was, just that they used it for both of their kids they just outgrew it... I havnt set it up because the baby's room want finished yet so it sat in my dining room, well I went to go put it together and couldn't find the hardware for it so I went to go order new parts for it, come to find it is been recalled! I should have done more  research on it, I'm dumb I know, but I was wondering, is there any way I can return it someplace? The makers of the crib have been bought out by another place now and I have this crib that I can't use.... Any suggestions? If not advice on how to solve this problem then anyone know of a safe, crib/toddler convert crib that is reasonable price? Thanks for your help mommys :)

Walmart and target have cheaper cribs under 200$. Or try ctaigslist and check for recalls before u buy it. Sorry u got a crib u cant use. :-(

I agree with walmart I bought my crib for 200 and it came with a mattress..

I got a great crib at ikea!:) I think used stuff is awesome except cribs...you just never know!

Amazon.com has a lot of reasonable priced convertible cribs.

I got a mini crib for Walmart for like 119 dollar super cute cuz it fit perfectly anywhere it don't take to much room

I know they had it for a long time but if it still has a box u can take it to Wal-Mart. They wi give u store credit

If it's been recalled the manufacturer will most likely assist in some way. They don't want any law suits. Go on their website.

I think recalls can be returned at target anytime without box just say you bought it with older child and now it's recalled and you were going to use for this one.
